Multimedia Approach
We organize various live events and use a comprehensive mix of media tools since 2012 to promote sustainable gastronomy. Our multimedia portfolio includes press partnerships, conferences, dinner events, culinary tourism initiatives, videography, book publications, and educational materials.

Events & Conferences
Our live events bring together Michelin-starred chefs, sustainability professionals, expert speakers, and exemplary local chefs to promote sustainable gastronomy. For over a decade, HIH has organized events for guests, students, and professionals including multiday campaigns, fine-dining events, seminars, and culinary conferences.

Culinary Tourism
Our culinary tourism initiatives in Twente, the Netherlands, and Jordan resulted in HIH’ 7 Steps to Develop Culinary Tourism for (aspiring) food destinations and tourism boards. Our latest case study From Farm to Fork in Jordan, and our 7 Steps methodology, are aligned with the UN Tourism Guidelines for Gastronomy Tourism.

Press
Sustainable Gastronomy attracts a growing audience, from local patrons to international visitors. To reach this wide audience, we leverage a variety of media channels and news platforms. Our work was published by UN Tourism and FAO, and HIH projects have been featured in several luxury lifestyle magazines and local news sources.

Videos
HIH produced multiple videos spotlighting our sustainable gastronomy events and culinary tours, featuring Michelin-rated chefs, culinary students, farmers, and artisanal producers. Most productions were created by our Art Director Yazeed Malkawi, while some were co-produced with our media partners.

Culinary Books
We featured over 30 Michelin and Slow Food chefs in our culinary books to amplify sustainable gastronomy topics such as biodiversity, farm to fork, health cuisine, herbalism, organic food, macrobiotics, seasonality, and TCM, as well as nose-to-tail eating, no waste, permaculture, sustainable seafood, and wild game.

Education
Today’s youth, tomorrow’s leaders. Since 2012, HIH provided guest lectures, curriculum development, and educational events for the Cas Spijkers Culinary Academy, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Hashemite University, Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, and Luminus Technical University College.
